Specialist Medical Examiners
The list of specialist medical examiners is a suggested list only . Where a Specialist Medical Examination is required you may use other doctor’s providing they are a specialist physician ( not a General Practitioner ) .
As a Resting and / or Exercise ECG is usually required in addition to the Specialist Medical Examination , we would recommend that if the medical is being done by a doctor who is not on our list that they are a Cardiologist.
You will note that there are a few doctor’s included in the list that are General Practitioner’s and not Specialists ( these will show qualifications as MBBS only ) . However , these doctor’s have been approved by TOWER Australia Limited to perform Specialist Medical Examinations.
As we would like to keep the doctor’s information up to date , it would assist us if you could contact Underwriting where you find that a doctor has changed their address or phone number.
