Feature ArticleClaims Care guide – assisting the bereavedTOWER has designed a Claims Care guide to assist family members, loved ones and beneficiaries when faced with bereavement. The guide will accompany the claim forms and other paperwork sent to customers once notification of a death has been received. The guide has been designed to answer customer questions and help the bereaved along the way. It provides information and recommendations on what to do when someone dies, including arranging the funeral, organisations to be notified of a death, information about policy ownership, as well as providing the contact details of other organisations that may be able to assist during this difficult time. This is just one of a number of exciting claims initiatives to launch over the coming months. The Claims Care team is working hard to make things easier for you and your clients, so stay tuned! Tracking Requested Medical Reports with International SOSWhen a medical attendant’s report is required for your client, we simply send a request to International SOS and they manage the retrieval for us. You can track the progress of these cases through the International SOS website. If you haven't already registered to use the site, simply go to the www.soslifeservices.com.au and click on Register. You’ll be able to enter your contact details and adviser numbers so that you can view any case managed by International SOS for your clients. Register today to keep track of your clients’ cases.
