Increase in TPD cover maximum to $2.5 million

TOWER is pleased to announce that effective immediately you will have the facility to provide your clients with Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) cover up to and including $2.5 million.

This maximum:

• applies to both “any occupation” and “own occupation” definitions;
• applies to TPD regardless of your selected policy structure, ie, either as an optional benefit attaching to the Life Protection Plan or the Crisis Protection Plan, or as a stand alone benefit;
• will include any cover with any other Life Office, including indexation.

The TPD cover will be ‘capped’ at $2.5 million and no indexation increases will be allowed beyond that level of cover with TOWER.

The underwriting requirements for this new maximum will be exactly the same as they are for our current maximum of $2 million so there are no additional and arduous extra tests or criteria involved.
